Vodia Live Call Transcriber Privacy Policy

This internal extension lets authorised My Guardian supervisors transcribe and analyse a selected live Vodia call.

Data processed

The extension processes the signed-in Google Workspace email, Vodia extension and call metadata, telephone numbers, matched AlayaCare names, selected live call audio, transcripts, and call analysis. Audio streaming begins only after an authorised supervisor selects Transcribe & analyse.

How data is used

Data is used only to authenticate the supervisor, show current call status, identify the call participants, create a speaker-separated transcript, and provide live operational analysis. It is not sold, used for advertising, lending, or unrelated purposes.

Storage and sharing

Raw call audio is processed in memory and is not retained by this service. Access tokens and preferences are stored in Chrome extension storage or managed Chrome policy. Data is shared only with service providers required for this function, including Google Cloud, Google Speech-to-Text, Gemini, Vodia, AlayaCare, and the organisation's Firestore database.

Security

Access is limited to approved Google Workspace identities and Vodia supervisor permissions. Requests use encrypted HTTPS or WSS connections, signed short-lived session tickets, and secrets stored in Google Cloud Secret Manager.
